Raw Energy Balls
- 1200g Walnuts
- 100g Almonds
- 75g Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 390g Pitted Dates (Soak dates overnight so they are easier to work with)
- 2 tablespoons of Roasted Cacao Nibs
Firstly put the walnuts and almonds in a blender and process until a fine meal. Then add the cacao powder and sea salt. Then continue to pulse until fully combined.
Put a few dates into the blender. It won’t particularly like this so just add a few at a time. This requires patience haha.
Once the dates are a sticky paste, add the nut mix back in. You could do this in a bowl if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty.
Then add the cacao nibs and any remaining nuts left over from stage 1 of the process.
You can add a variety of ingredients to help jazz up the energy balls. You can try dried fruit, goji berries, seeds, nuts, coconut flakes. Basically anything. Experiment. Even the zest of an orange or lemon.
Combine together and make 14 evenly sized Energy Balls.
