Houmous & Roasted Red Pepper Bagels

Serves 1
  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 10ml olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • 1 bagel
  • 1 Red Pepper

Firstly, pre heat the over to 180 degrees. Then, slice the red pepper and place onto a baking tray. Place into the oven and cook for 6-8 minutes. Then take out and leave to sit on a paper towel for 1 minute. As that is going on, drain the chick peas before adding to blender with olive oil, salt and lemon juice. Blitz until smooth. Thats the houmus done. Use 50g of the houmous to spread on a toasted bagel. Then add the peppers and enjoy!!
