What I Have Learned From The Pandemic

What I Have Learned From The Pandemic

Wahayyy!!!
There is light at the end of the tunnel!
This pandemic has been so tough for so many people for so many reasons.
But we have some hope (a rare thing over the past 12 months).
And one thing is for sure, ‘Normality’ is something I will NEVER take for granted ever again!!
I have learned so much about myself during the pandemic. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect and question my life ambitions and goals.
I’ve learnt that materialistic things are pretty pointless. Life isn’t about what you have, but it’s about what you do with it and who you do it with.
Chasing money and being ‘successful’ shouldn’t be the aim, it’s about feeling content with your current situation, doing things that make you happy, and emitting positive energy and vibes upon other people!!
Here’s a great quote…..
“Don’t be so busy making a living that you forget to make a life”
I have spent years trying to make a ‘success’ of myself. Hours upon hours of work when I could/should have been socialising. I was so focused I wouldnt allow myself to enjoy myself. Weird right? That’s not how life should be!!
I know you need to sacrifice certain things to be successful, but not to the extent where you’re not happy. Because if you’re not happy, then it’s not worth it, surely?
I’m never going to slow down what I do, as I love what I do so much. Literally love it! I’m very lucky to have that. But I feel I have now learned that being happy and feeling fulfilled is so important!
My ambition is still massive. And I have big plans to progress my business. But the way I was living before lockdown wasn’t going to make me happy. I was burnt out. Knackered. It wasn’t sustainable! And I was chasing my tail so much I didnt realise it!
So in a world where negativity has been at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts for over a year, try and look for the positives!
I know my life has changed forever from this experience, and I hope you can find something from your experience to gain clarity and comfort from!
Dream big, but enjoy life!
Simple, but it’s going to change my life!
