Ashwagandha is a herb native to Asia and Africa that has been used for thousands of years in traditional medicine to treat a variety of problems, including inflammation and discomfort, boosting nutrition, and insomnia.
Additionally, ashwagandha is regarded as an adaptogen. It may therefore improve your body's ability to handle stress. To confirm how effective ashwagandha is, more research is being done on its many benefits. However, if you struggle to fall asleep or deal with stress and anxiety, this herbal supplement might be useful.
