Key Nutrients for Immune Health: 

  • Vitamin C: One of the most well-known immune-boosting nutrients, vitamin C helps stimulate the production of white blood cells, which are essential for fighting infections. Foods rich in vitamin C include citrus fruits, strawberries, bell peppers, broccoli, and spinach. 
  • Vitamin D: This plays a crucial role in modulating immune responses. A deficiency in vitamin D can leave you more susceptible to infections. To boost your vitamin D levels, get plenty of sunshine, and include foods like fatty fish, egg yolks, fortified dairy products, and mushrooms in your diet.
