Managing Stress
Aug 20, 2024Hey everyone, all of us deal with periods in our lives where we suffer from high states of stress at some, and in today’s busy society we are involved in regular stressful life situations, along with frequent and exhausting work/life/training schedules. So, I’ve noted down some coping strategies that will hopefully help you all manage your stress levels and support you, but first let us understand how bad stress can affect us.
Symptoms of bad stress:
Long-term high stress levels might cause negative outcomes like the following:
- Having trouble falling asleep.
- Feeling fatigued for the bulk of the day.
- Experiencing emotional or mood fluctuations.
- Frequently feeling unwell or experiencing elevated allergic inflammation.
My top tips to manage stress levels:
1.Make sure you get enough sleep. A lack of sleep causes your body to produce more cortisol, which can cause sensations of hunger and lead to weight gain. Get seven to eight hours of sleep every night.
2.Regular exercise - Exercise is a terrific method to improve your mood and reduce stress. On most days of the week, try to get in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise.
3.Consume a nutritious diet – Eating a nutritious diet can help you feel your best and less stressed. Eat as many fruits, veggies, and whole grains as you can.
4.Engage in relaxation exercises: Yoga, meditation, and deep breathing are examples of relaxation techniques that can help lower stress and enhance general health.
